每个人背后都有一个足以撼动心灵的故事。法国知名的摄影师Yann Arthus-Bertrand就用了3年的时间，走访全球60个国家，让2,020位不同肤色、种族、性别的人，在镜头前诉说自己的故事。由乌克兰的自由战士、马里的农民，到美国的死囚，各人的故事集结成一部纪录片《HUMAN》。

　　In re-viewing our super eight films, shot between 1972 and 1981, it occurred to me that they comprised not only a family archive but a testimony to the pastimes, lifestyle and aspirations of a social class in the decade after 1968. I wanted to incorporate these silent images into a story which combined the intimate with the social and with history, to convey the taste and colour of those years.

　　Going well beyond the conventions of the expedition film genre, Marie Amiguet sets up he camera on the Tibetan Plateau accompanied by the wildlife photographer Vincent Munier the adventure writer Sylvain Tesson, who describes their time in his book La Panthère desneiges which won the Prix Renaudot in 2019. Will they succeed in seeing the big cat? In th process of capturing the anticipation, the silence, the passing of the days and the strength nature, an obvious theme emerges: the beauty of the world.

　　昆虫是无语的主角，没有旁白注脚，观众全然用自己的心思与眼耳来解读昆虫的一天。《小宇宙 2 基因狂想曲》的主题是宏观的，它讲的是自然界本身与存在于自然界中的万物，因此，人的元素被置入了——选择非洲老祖父代言，因为非洲是人类发源的摇篮，说的故事也有以口述语言传承文化的意味。
　　《小宇宙2：基因狂想曲》不仅仅是一部纪录片，它还是一部喜剧音乐电影，有刻意安排的情节、演员、也有布景与聚光灯；它希望帮助人们发掘宇宙之美、发掘动物与人类、无生物与生物之间的联贯性。当一切都能被拆解成原子，死亡不过是生命现象的转换：水母优雅地漂至岸边、静静等待生命乾涸；落叶腐果，也都有着孕育新生的使命。而人呢，如同智者所说，“某日，我将回到那个当初生我、造我的世界"。

　　在巴黎近郊Ivry城的Charles Foix的老年医学中心里，著名编舞者Thierry Thieû Niang为一些患阿森海默症的老人举办了舞蹈工作坊。通过舞蹈，病人们的生活得以表达，悔恨的回忆、痛苦、快乐和孤独慢慢呈现。影片拍摄期间，九十二岁的 Blanche Moreau爱上了Thierry。爱本身是一件疯狂的事情，Blanche既没有谵妄，也没有发疯：他的疾病只是成了相思。

Par la danse, des vies se racontent, des souvenirs s’égrènent plein de regrets, d’amertumes, d’éclats de joie, de solitudes. Blanche Moreau a quatre-vingt-douze ans. Pendant le tournage, elle est tombée amoureuse du chorégraphe Thierry. Le simple fait de tomber amoureuse étant en soi une chose folle, Blanche n’a plus rien de délirant ni de fou : sa maladie est devenue tout simplement la maladie de l’amour.

　　奥斯卡金像奖得主Rob Epstein与Jeffrey Friedman（本片导演）有心拨乱反正，以研究同性恋电影的经典著作《“胶卷”衣柜（Celluloid Closet）》一书作蓝本，从一百多部好莱坞名作中同性恋者走过时留下的蛛丝马迹着手，并请来曾饰演过同性恋角色的演员汤姆•汉克斯、苏珊•萨兰登等讲述所见所闻，研读了“电影中的同性恋”，不仅以同性恋的角度重新审视了好莱坞电影发展史，也剖析了美国主流文化对待同性恋的血泪史。

　　《梵高》（Van Gogh，阿兰·雷乃，1948年|17分钟|35毫米|黑白|有声）以荷兰著名画家梵高（1853—1890）的绘画作品作为影像素材讲述了梵高的生平并评述了他的绘画艺术。法国南部普罗旺斯地区一望无际的麦田，古朴清幽的农舍，梵高及其朋友和邻居们的形象依次出现在银幕上。这些形象不是摄自现实的生活场景，而是取自画家的绘画作品，零碎的形象在摄影机的关照之下复活起来。本片导演阿兰·雷乃（Alain Resnais）1922年生于法国瓦纳市，1943年入巴黎高等电影学院学习剪辑。在1959年因执导故事片《广岛之恋》而一鸣惊人之前，他的电影创作活动主要是在纪录片方面，并成为二战后法国纪录电影学派“三十人集团”的核心人物。1940年代末到1950年代初，雷乃拍过一系列美术纪录片，本片即是其中的一部。本片的表现手法，正如雷乃在本片的片头字幕上所说，就是“仅仅通过绘画作品展示这位伟大现代画家的生命传奇与精神历险”，探索“绘画作品中的形象和事物能否在电影叙事中取代现实生活中的形象和事物，以及观众能否接受这些形象并顺利进入画家的内心世界”。

　　The film accompanies Magaye Niyang, a star of Touki-Bouki, a 1972 classic directed by her own uncle Djibril Diop. Following this path, we are witness of Niyang travel to a special screening of the film, which has a public release in his old town. Niyang seems detached and with a heavy longing from the past, and therefore, the film debris permeates everything with unescapable sorrow and fascination.
　　Diop film is, first and foremost, a nostalgic travel through memory, time and recreation. It is also a watermark in contemporary experimental documentary, a very intimate portrait of a lost long journey through the past that isn’t returning anymore, a detachment of rejected fame, recognition and connection which is heavily grounded on a legacy that belongs to the past, and that connects directly to a country (Senegal) and its heritage, which is sometimes feel excruciating for the old ones (a testimony such as the taxi scene in the film, where the cab driver longs for changes, and claims that the old generation had done nothing for that).
　　Mille Soleils (A Thousand Suns) and, in itself, Mati Diop’s crucial talent, should be a point of reference into what could easily be one of the most interesting proposals of hybrid documentary cinema which has come from France, and which deals with a strong African heritage. Since 35 Rhums, where she proved her actress talent, Diop seems like a true promise for the following years of cinema.

　　The rise of Stalin, from his early beginning as a bankrobber to the cold-blooded leader of the Soviet Union.
　　Who was Stalin? The man who defeated Nazism? The “Little Father of the Peoples"?  Or the greatest criminal of his time? In Apocalypse Stalin, three 52-minute episodes, Isabelle Clarke and Daniel Costelle paint the portrait of one of the fiercest despots of the twentieth century, using archive film of the day. This footage has been perfectly restored and beautifully colorized by the Apocalypse production team.  Starting with the fight to the death against Hitler, the series tells the story of the incredible rise to power of Joseph Jughashvili. This cobbler's son from Georgia started with nothing and made his way up the ranks through various intrigues and crimes, ultimately rising to absolute power and adopting the moniker Stalin - “man of steel" in Russian. From a human standpoint, the series describes the enormous tragedy that befell the Soviet people between 1878 and 1945, as they found themselves caught in a trap that became a living hell.

　　以一首「Get Lucky」红遍全球的法国电音天团「傻瓜庞克」，成军20年来却极少公开露面，尔后更彻底以机器人形象现身活动。法国导演赫威马丁戴皮耶的纪录片《傻瓜庞克：谁是傻瓜》，邀请到肯伊威斯特、「菲董」菲瑞威廉斯等大牌巨星，横跨法英美三国的音乐製作人、乐评及音乐录影带导演现身说法，探索傻瓜庞克的创作历程，如何将向来由英美领导的流行音乐带向新纪元。

　　This collaborative film, banned for more than a decade by French censors as an attack on French colonialism (and now available only in shortened form), is a deeply felt study of African art and the decline it underwent as a result of its contact with Western civilization. Marker's characteristically witty and thoughtful commentary is combined with images of a stark formal beauty in this passionate outcry against the fate of an art that was once integral to communal life but became debased as it fell victim to the demands of another culture.
